Split Image Into Custom Grid Sections
Divide any image into rows and columns with presets or custom dimensions. Drag every horizontal or vertical line to resize individual sections, then download all pieces as separate PNG files.

Create equal or custom image sections
Image Splitter starts with balanced rows and columns, so a 2×2 grid creates four equal pieces and a 3×3 grid creates nine. Presets cover common layouts including 2×4, 4×2, and 4×4. For a different layout, enter any row and column count up to 10×10.
The grid is only a starting point. Every pink line is draggable, which means the sections do not need to remain equal. Move a vertical line to make one column wider, or move a horizontal line to give a subject more room. The exact source pixels inside each boundary are preserved in the exported piece.
Useful for social posts, printing, products, and puzzles
A square 3×3 split works well for Instagram-style profile grids and visual mosaics. Wide 2×4 or 4×2 layouts are useful for carousel planning, printable tiles, storyboard frames, and product-detail crops. Custom grids can also turn an illustration into puzzle pieces or divide a reference sheet into reusable assets.
Each result is named by row and column, such as r01-c01, so the original order is clear after download. A preview gallery shows every piece and its pixel dimensions before you leave the page. You can download one piece again or download the entire set separately.
Private, local image processing
Your PNG, JPG, or WebP image is decoded and split with the browser canvas on your device. The source image and generated sections are not uploaded to wikawe or a third-party processing server. This keeps personal photos, unpublished designs, and client assets private.
Output pieces use PNG to avoid adding JPEG compression artifacts during the split. The tool does not stretch the image: it crops along the visible grid boundaries at the original pixel resolution. For very large grids, your browser may ask permission to allow multiple downloads because every section is saved as its own file.
