New

Workspace layers — chain tools without downloading

Merge, watermark, compress, and more stack as layers on your working PDF. Keep editing in place, restore any step, or delete a layer to undo.

What's included

  • Every PDF tool result stays in the workspace as a layer — no download between steps.
  • Merge creates a new working document; watermark, compress, rotate, and sign/edit add layers on top.
  • The Layers panel (right side of PDF Workspace) lists your history newest-first.
  • Click a layer to restore that version; use trash to remove it and everything above.

Example

  • Merge two contracts, then watermark the result, then compress — all before one download.
  • Signed the wrong page? Delete the Signed layer and try again from the previous version.
Improved

Sign & edit live inside PDF Workspace

Sign and annotate without leaving the workspace. Place signatures, notes, shapes, and marks — then Apply to save as a layer.

What's included

  • Sign and Editor open in the center pane instead of redirecting to a separate page.
  • Resize and delete signatures with corner handles and the trash control above the box.
  • Notes, rectangles, highlights, and other marks can be dragged and resized after placing.

Example

  • Open a PDF → Sign → place and resize → Apply → continue with watermark in the same session.
Improved

Smarter PDF compression

Compress now rebuilds image-heavy pages for real size savings — and shows how much you saved.

What's included

  • Pages are re-encoded when that produces a smaller file (great for scans and photo PDFs).
  • Status shows before → after size and percent saved.
  • Already-optimized text PDFs stay the same size instead of growing.
